SASE is navigating one of the most challenging financial seasons in our history. With the loss of DEI funding, we experienced a significant reduction in revenue for 2025. Through careful planning and cost-saving measures, we ensured the success of STEM Connect 2025, protected essential programs and are committed to STEM Connect 2026 in Seattle.

Every gift strengthens the SASEfam and helps us continue opening doors and provide leadership training for thousands of students and professionals across the country. You are the spark that keeps the STEM Talent Engine running — and together, we’re building a future full of opportunity, resilience, and possibility.

Our Board of Directors believes so strongly in the future of SASE that they have come together with 100% participation and increased the matching challenge to $9,170! Their commitment is a powerful endorsement that the work we do changes lives — and our community is a future worth investing in.

This year, we are featuring a special gift of gratitude — a limited-edition koi sticker, beautifully designed by Michelle Ling, a proud SASE alumna. The koi symbolizes perseverance, transformation, and strength in the face of adversity — qualities that reflect SASE’s own journey as we continue to rise, adapt, and empower our community.

In some Asian cultures, koi fish are seen as symbols of good luck, prosperity, and resilience, swimming upstream and, in legend, transforming into dragons. It’s a fitting reminder that every challenge can spark transformation.
