When can I nominate?
Applications will be open March 13 and close May 29 11:59 PM ET.

Where can I apply? Are paper applications accepted?
All application materials must be submitted online using our online form to company contacts.  Paper applications are not accepted.

When is the deadline?
The deadline is May 29, 2026 11:59 PM ET.

Can I nominate myself?
No, nominees must be supported and submitted by their employing organization.

How many nominations can an organization submit?
Each organization is limited to a maximum of five (5) Achievement Award nominations. Nominations may be in one, two or all categories but may not exceed five in total. Those on the Organizational Advisory Council (OAC) are allowed to submit up to ten (10).

Can an individual who is not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident be nominated?
A foreign national can be nominated as long as they have a visa to work in the United States.

When will the recipients be announced?
Recipients will be notified personally by July 3, 2026. Each recipient will be recognized at the 2026 STEM Connect Convention, which will be held in Seattle WA, October 1-3, 2026. An award certificate will also be provided by SASE.

What qualifications does the nominee have to have to be nominated for the Achievement Award?
All nominees must be employed by the nominating organization and meet the criteria for their respective category.

Is there a fee to apply?
Yes.

Do the winners receive any compensation?
No. The awards are for recognition purposes only and no compensation of any kind is provided. Individuals will receive certificates of achievement.

Do the winners receive a complimentary registration to the National Convention?
No.  Individuals must register and pay for the events they wish to attend.

I missed the application deadline. Is there anything I can do?
Unfortunately, we do not accept late applications. These awards are annual, so we would be glad to review your material for next year’s applicants once applications are open. Next year’s applications will be available in January 2027.
